Anyway...here is some Uni work. I thought I'd post this piece because I am really pleased with how this came out. For those who don't know I currently doing a National Diploma in Foundation Art and Design..meaning I try alot of different things art and design related and then choose a specialism to focus on for my final project which will be graded and what I will use to move onto Higher Education (a full degree) in University after this year.

Yeah...I'm specialising in Graphic Design and Illustration. This is the beginning of my second term and the first unit brief said "deconstruct and reconstruct".

So basically I started with no ideas what so ever but after hours or research and intial thoughts I came up with some things. I looked at Graphic work concerning computers and gaming. I had to research different styles and then reduce these styles to core elements (this is the deconstructing) and make them (reconstruct) into my own new style.

This is what I have got so far. Looking at Game Boxart and the like..so here's the deconstructed and reconstructed version of my Viewtiful Mario (aka. Mario drawn in the style of Viewtiful Joe but with hand drawn qualities).

Completed.

(original drawing is A1 size so I had to take a photo instead of scan).
